Mythology & Lore
In Greek mythology, Aries represents the golden-fleeced ram that saved Phrixus and Helle. After its sacrifice, its fleece became the famous Golden Fleece sought by Jason and the Argonauts. The ram was then placed among the stars by the gods.

For Observers
Look for Aries high in the autumn and winter sky. Its main stars form a distinctive curved line. While not exceptionally bright, its location between Pisces and Taurus makes it a rewarding find. Use the Pleiades cluster as a guidepost.
