Aries Horoscope
Greek Mythological Origin
The constellation Aries is linked to the myth of the Golden Ram, Chrysomallus. This magical, flying ram with a golden fleece was sent by the god Hermes (or by the cloud-nymph Nephele) to rescue the royal children, Phrixus and Helle, from a treacherous plot.
After carrying them across the sea, the ram was sacrificed to Zeus, and its precious Golden Fleece was placed in the sacred grove of Ares, guarded by a dragon. This very Fleece later became the quest of the hero Jason and his Argonauts.
Zeus honored the ram by placing its image among the stars, creating the Aries constellation.

Personality & Spirit
Much like the Greek hero or warrior archetype, an Arian personality is marked by bravery and a desire to be first. They are natural leaders, though their impulsive nature can sometimes lead to haste. Their ruling planet, Mars (Ares), grants them a dynamic, sometimes combative spirit, always ready to defend or conquer. The fire within them seeks expression through action, adventure, and the pure joy of beginning something new.
Their challenge lies in cultivating patience and considering the consequences of their bold actions—a lesson from the myth where impulse must be guided by purpose.
