Astrological Exemption

In Vedic astrology, Sade Sati is a significant transit of Saturn (Shani) that lasts approximately seven and a half years, often associated with challenges and transformation. It occurs when Saturn transits the 12th, 1st, and 2nd houses from an individual's natal Moon.

However, for individuals with their Moon placed in Capricorn (Makara Rashi), Saturn is the ruling planet of that sign. This creates a fundamental difference in the astrological relationship. Because Saturn is the lord of Capricorn, its transit over its own sign and the adjacent ones is not interpreted as the traditional, difficult Sade Sati period. Instead, this transit is viewed through the lens of planetary ownership, often resulting in a more stable or administrative influence rather than one of harsh karmic lessons.
