Taurus: The Bull
An Earth Sign of Strength, Stability, and Sensuality
The Taurus Zodiac Symbol
The Essence of Taurus
Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac, is represented by the steadfast Bull. It symbolizes determination, a love for beauty and comfort, and a deep connection to the physical world. Its glyph resembles the head and horns of a bull.
How to Draw the Taurus Zodiac Sign
Follow these simple steps to sketch the classic Taurus glyph. All you need is a pencil and paper.
Draw a Circle
Start by lightly sketching a perfect circle. This forms the base structure of the bull's head.
Add the Horns
From the top of the circle, draw two upward-curving lines, similar to a rounded 'V' shape. These represent the bull's powerful horns.
Complete the Head Shape
Extend the bottom half of the circle outwards on both sides, then curve the lines back in to meet at a point below the circle, creating a fuller, more robust head shape.
Refine and Ink
Once you are happy with your pencil sketch, go over the final lines with a darker pen or marker. Erase any unnecessary guide lines.
